It is named after the narrow canal of Bocachica (Small-mouth), the only pint of Access to the CartagenaBay, when the Bocagrande (Big-mouth) canal was shut down with a breakwater during colonial times.At Bocachica visitors can spend a day at the beach while enjoying a local fried fish dish or taking a touring around the Bocachica fortress.
